The Pureodine™ process – a proprietary trade secret lab-based manufacturing technology for making the XODINE™ glycerite of transformative mono-element pico-colloidal triiodide of iodine – is the result of a developmental collaboration between lead developer L. Carl Robinson (Clinical & Formulary Herbalist/Nutritionist) and a team of talented individuals with backgrounds in science, engineering and technology.
Cedar Bear Naturales™ Pureodine™ processed transformative mono-element pico-colloidal iodine matrix is the first Standardized glycerite mineral product of its kind for general & specific human/animal use and potential medicinally directed applications. The Pureodine™ lab-based process incorporates the proprietary IHMVHAS™ technology that results in product of a highly stable, concentrated, safe and efficacious nature.
At no time is the raw resublimated USP grade iodine (derived from all-natural earth deep mined pristine sources) used in the Pureodine™ process subjected to direct contact type of heat, as is typically done, but is instead subjected to a specially engineered liquifying/Concentrating and Colloid rendering processes. The liquified iodine then goes through a transformative process that modifies and stabilizes the iodine molecules (explained by way of certain physics valence-based theories) and moderates and mitigates the intrinsic toxicity of a mono-element based iodine matrix thereby making it suitable for dietary supplement and topical uses.
Throughout the Pureodine™ process no other mineral or mineral compounds are used or present, such as mineral salts of iodides of potassium, calcium, magnesium, etc., that are typically used as adherant iodides (i.e. potassium iodide) to assist in binding the raw unstable elemental iodine to the mineral salt of iodide aberrant, so as to chemically reduce the reactivity of the iodine. Mineral salts based iodides are simply not needed in the Pureodine™ process. The Pureodine™ process results in a highly unique and innovative matrix of mono-element based pico-colloidal triiodide of iodine that possesses phenomenal bioavailable qualities where a biological system’s safe and efficient utilization of elemental iodine is concerned.

Pureodine™ processed glycerite of pico-colloidal iodine does not form into salts or precipitates and does not invert. Pureodine™ glycerite of iodine matrix is highly bio-abailable and disperses quickly throughout the body, and is gentle on the digestive system because it is in a pre-digested transformative bio-available dietary ready-to-digest/utilize form and doesn’t have to be buffered, neutralized and broken down like in-vitro chemically manufactured mineral salts of iodine/iodide products do. Pureodine™ processed glycerite of iodine is concentrated and highly bio-absorbable. This means a smaller dosage may be required than is typical of other liquid iodine/iodide preparations of similar claimed for supplemental effects. This is especially important where dose monitoring for thyroid/cardio-vascular/endocrine or immune/kidney effects are concerned.
Topical (external) applications for Pureodine™ processed glycerite of pico-colloidal iodine matrix are many-fold. For instance, the Pureodine™ processed glycerite of iodine is gentler, not as drying and has little-t0-no stinging or burning sensation than is typical with other iodines or iodide tinctures because of the totally unique nature that the Pureodine™ labe-grade process imparts to its glycerite of iodine. In a preliminary study done at a network of burn centers in India it was verbally reported back to the makers of the Pureodine™ processed glycerite of iodine matrix that the XODINE™ product showed little-to-no cytotoxicity when used in high amounts or for sustained periods on burns, like is often the case with other liquid iodine/iodide preparations. The India doctors involved in this ad-hoc study had never seen an iodine-based burn preparation possess little-to-no cytotoxic affect on healing burned tissues, including that the Pureodine™ processed glycerite of iodine matrix did not cause tissues to ‘leather’ as is typical with other preparations.
Pureodine™ processed glycerite of pico-colloidal iodine matrix is highly stable, concentrated and possess a remarkably low REDOX and long shelf life, even after opening, which is an industry first. It is bottled in convenient 1 oz euro-style dropper dispensing bottles.
